Our partner is looking for a Junior/SemiSenior Back-End (Python) Engineer - Security and Safety Solutions based in Brazil. This is a fully remote opportunity for a Python back-end engineer working on scalable and reliable software solutions. The role focuses on designing, developing, testing, and maintaining back-end services and RESTful APIs. You will contribute to applications where performance, security, reliability, and maintainability are key priorities. The position involves working with modern Python frameworks, databases, ORM technologies, and contemporary development practices. You will collaborate with front-end, DevOps, and other technical teams to deliver well-integrated solutions. Develop, test, and maintain scalable back-end services and RESTful APIs using Python. Build and evolve applications using frameworks such as Django, Flask, or FastAPI. Collaborate with front-end developers, DevOps professionals, and other technical teams to ensure effective system integration. Optimize applications for performance, reliability, security, and maintainability. Troubleshoot, debug, and improve existing applications and services. Identify opportunities for technical improvements and contribute to the adoption of development best practices. Stay current with emerging technologies, tools, frameworks, and modern back-end engineering practices. Contribute to the continuous improvement of systems and development processes through a proactive, quality-focused approach. Requirements 1–3 years of professional experience in Python back-end development. Strong understanding of RESTful API development and related best practices. Experience working with SQL and NoSQL databases and ORM frameworks. Proficiency with Git and software development best practices. Experience with Django, Flask, or FastAPI is preferred. Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, or other containerization technologies is a plus. Familiarity with AWS, GCP, or Azure is a plus. Knowledge of asynchronous programming and task queues such as Celery is a plus. Experience with testing frameworks such as Pytest is a plus. Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and microservices architecture is a plus. Strong communication and collaboration skills.
