The government allocated 250 scholarships for scientific internships in 2026. The official ministry announcement states that the state covers academic training or internship costs, round-trip airfare, medical insurance, visa fees, study materials and a monthly scholarship allowance. Applications opened 16 March 2026; competitive selection runs from 13 April to 31 December 2026. Applications may be submitted through eGov or in person at the Center for International Programs office in Astana; applicants from other regions may submit through an authorized representative.
