Key Account Manager, NGS - Singapore, Hong Kong, Taiwan

Next Generation Sequencing is one of the fastest-moving fields in life sciences, and Twist Bioscience is at the center of it — supplying the synthetic DNA-based tools that power genomic research, diagnostics, and drug discovery around the world. We're looking for a Strategic Key Account Manager to own and grow our most valuable NGS relationships across Singapore, Taiwan, and Hong Kong. This is a high-visibility, high-ownership role: you'll be the face of Twist to hospitals, pharma and biotech companies, and academic institutions, and you'll have real influence over how our technology gets adopted across the region. You'll work closely with product, marketing, legal, and applications teams — and your success translates directly into Twist's growth in one of our most strategic markets. If you're driven by building relationships that last, closing deals that matter, and being genuinely embedded in the science behind them, this is a rare seat with real room to shape the outcome. What You'll Be Doing Build and grow a pipeline of NGS customers, collaborators, and partners across the region, from first conversation through signed agreement. Own the full deal cycle — prospecting, negotiation, contract terms (including volume-based pricing), and closing. Develop and manage strategic account plans for your highest-value relationships, acting as a trusted partner rather than just a vendor. Partner with the Field Application Support (FAS) team to make sure customers get the technical guidance they need. Work alongside marketing to build Twist's brand and visibility in the region. Keep opportunities current in Salesforce, giving leadership clear visibility into your pipeline. Operate within ISO 13485 and other regulatory requirements as a matter of course. What You'll Bring A genuine scientific grounding — you understand NGS workflows well enough to be a credible, trusted advisor to customers, not just a salesperson. A track record of building long-term relationships and winning complex, high-value deals. Strong commercial instincts paired with the collaborative mindset to work across internal teams on demanding projects. Excellent communication and presentation skills — you're just as comfortable in a technical discussion as you are negotiating a contract. Proven Track Record of consistently meeting or exceeding targets A formidable work ethic and strong dedication to excellence in service to our customers. Ability to travel between 30-50% between Singapore (Base) and Hong Kong and Taiwan. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Biology, Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, or a related field (or equivalent industry experience); Master's or PhD is a plus. 3-5+ years of commercial or key-account experience in NGS/genomics, with a track record of managing or growing strategic accounts in Singapore, Taiwan, and/or Hong Kong.
