Antigua and Barbuda is an eligible Small Island Developing State for the 2027 King’s Commonwealth Fellowship Programme undergraduate fellowships, with applications scheduled to open on 21 September 2026.

The programme supports undergraduate study in the applicant's home country or immediate region. Four fellowships are open to applicants from all 24 eligible SIDS, including Antigua and Barbuda. Eligible fields are Education, Engineering, Health and Sustainable Tourism. Support includes full tuition where not already covered by government, a stipend for basic living costs and, where applicable, one return ticket to the fellow's home island each year.
Eligibility requirements
Applicants must be citizens of, or hold refugee status in, an eligible Small Island Developing State including Antigua and Barbuda; must be beginning an undergraduate degree between January and December 2027; and must apply in one of the programme's eligible subject areas. The official page excludes medicine/medical technology and tourism management/hospitality from the stated field categories.
