The Koch Internship Program (KIP) is a paid experiential learning program run by Stand Together Fellowships that offers professional development, leadership training, and meaningful work experience at non-profits tackling some of our nation's most pressing policy challenges all over the United States. Early-career professionals including undergraduate/graduate/law students and recent graduates are encouraged to apply. Eligible candidates will be geographically located in and authorized to work in the United States through the duration of the program. Successful candidates will interview with both our non-profit partner organizations and Stand Together Fellowships staff, so we strongly encourage you to begin the admissions process early!

About Taxpayers Protection Alliance Foundation

The Taxpayers Protection Alliance Foundation (TPAF) is a non-profit, non-partisan organization dedicated to educating the public about the effects of excessive taxation and spending by all levels of government through research, investigative reporting, and analysis. TPAF also educates the public about government transparency and openness in the United States and around the world.

The Taxpayers Protection Alliance Foundation (TPAF) is seeking a highly motivated part-time intern to join our policy team. Candidates should have an interest in economic and regulatory policy areas now being debated in Congress and within the executive branch as well as a strong commitment to free-market economics and limited government.

An ideal candidate will have strong writing skills. Previous experience in policy research is preferred but not required.

This role will be part-time, in person, in Washington, D.C.

Draft original economic and regulatory analysis, to be published under your name;

Conduct research to assist the policy team in drafting policy papers, op-eds, blogs, press releases, etc on a wide range of issue areas including tax reform, tech policy, healthcare, antitrust, regulation, and more;

Monitor legislative and regulatory developments, such as congressional votes and committee hearings;

Attend various events in Washington, D.C., to promote TPAF’s interests.
