Applications are open for the 2027 Knight-Hennessy Scholars cohort at Stanford University. Scholars receive up to three years of financial support for eligible Stanford graduate study alongside leadership-development programming.

For the first three years of eligible graduate study, Knight-Hennessy Scholars funding can include a fellowship for tuition and associated fees, a stipend for living and academic expenses, and a travel stipend for one annual economy-class trip to and from Stanford. Newly enrolling scholars also receive a one-time relocation stipend. Applicants must separately apply to an eligible full-time Stanford graduate degree programme.
Eligibility requirements
For the 2027 cohort, applicants generally must have earned or expect to earn their first/bachelor's degree in 2020 or later; eligible U.S. military applicants have an extended window to 2018 or later. Applicants must also apply to, be accepted by and enroll in a full-time Stanford graduate degree programme. Review the official eligibility page for exceptions and programme-specific requirements.
