The scholarship begins on 1 October 2026 and supports talented students in the Baltic states who combine strong academic performance with political or social engagement. The official programme states that applicants can be admitted from the second year, or third semester, of a Bachelor's programme. Support is EUR 200 per month for a maximum of two years.
Eligibility requirements
Applicants must hold Estonian, Latvian or Lithuanian citizenship, be enrolled at a state-recognised higher education institution in one of those countries, demonstrate political or social engagement, and have very good academic performance. Required documents include a motivation letter, CV with photo, recommendation letter and confirmation of enrolment; documents should be in German or English.
