Each fellowship has a maximum total budget of €320,100 over three years. The 2027 call rules set a minimum annual gross salary of €47,000, research-project funding of €38,500 per year, a gross mobility allowance of €5,400, family support where applicable and a required secondment of at least six months. Eligibility requirements
Applicants of any nationality must have defended their PhD between 23 September 2019 and 23 September 2024, subject to the official extension rules. Incoming candidates must not have resided or carried out their main activity in the country of the proposed host institution for more than 12 months during the three years immediately before the deadline. The research project must be in STEM at an eligible accredited Spanish or Portuguese centre of excellence.
