About Landscape Alliance

Landscape Alliance, the operating name of the Center for International Forestry Research (CIFOR) and the International Centre for Research in Agroforestry (ICRAF), works to transform science into action by unlocking the potential of trees, forests and agroforestry landscapes to advance planetary health and human well-being.

The Global Landscapes Forum (GLF), launched in 2013 by CIFOR-ICRAF with core partners including UNEP and the World Bank, is a major knowledge-led platform focused on sustainable landscapes.

It connects policymakers, investors, communities, scientists, private-sector stakeholders and other partners across restoration, climate, biodiversity and sustainable development.

  • Develop and promote content based on speakers’ knowledge across different media platforms.

  • Work with the communications team to amplify speakers’ messages and impact.

  • Support capacity building across GLF communities, including GLFx Chapters, Youth and Restoration Stewards.

  • Ensure frontline and community voices are represented in GLF events and campaigns.

  • Support the Knowledge Committee in developing coherent and action-oriented event narratives.

  • Nurture strategic relationships and identify potential new partners alongside the Managing Director and Partnership & Engagement Coordinator.
