Context

We are seeking a highly talented and experienced Landscape Architect to join our dynamic team in Dubai office. This pivotal role will contribute to the delivery of the iconic public realm projects, shaping the urban landscape and enhancing the lives of residents and visitors. The ideal candidate will possess a strong design sensibility, technical expertise, and a collaborative spirit, with a deep understanding of the unique dynamics of the GCC market.

Missions/Main Duties

  • Contribute to the design development of significant public realm projects from concept through to execution, ensuring alignment with project vision and objectives.
  • Ability to work independently while also excelling as a collaborative and supportive team player.
  • Develop comprehensive landscape packages, including site analysis, conceptual designs, master plans, detailed drawings, planting schemes, and technical specifications.
  • Integrate innovative and sustainable design principles to create aesthetically compelling, functional, and user-centric spaces that enhance environmental, social, and economic value for neighbourhoods.
  • Collaborate effectively with multi-disciplinary teams, including architects, urban planners, civil engineers, irrigation specialists, and other consultants, to ensure seamless project coordination and delivery.
  • Respect project timelines and deliverables, demonstrating adaptability and resilience when navigating challenging schedules.
  • Act as a proactive team member, contributing to a collaborative and positive work environment.

Profile/Skills

Education: Master's degree in landscape architecture, Architecture, Urban Design.

Background:

  • 5 to 7 years of progressive professional experience in Landscape Architecture, with a significant portfolio showcasing work on public realm from the conceptual through IFC stage.
  • A minimum of 3 years of direct experience working on projects within the GCC region is essential.
  • Demonstrated ability to balance aesthetic considerations with practical functionality, creating spaces that enrich user experience and community value.
  • Proven experience in coordinating with diverse disciplines and understanding the intricate relationships between various project scopes and landscape deliverables.
  • Proficient in landscape design software (AutoCAD, Revit, Navisworks Manage, Adobe Creative Suite, SketchUp, Lumion, etc.)
  • Strong working knowledge of local (i.e., GCC and RTA) landscape, environmental, and Urban design planning regulations.
