Full job description
The central role is based at LAU's Beirut campus and requires commuting to the Byblos campus and LAU affiliates, including its medical centers. Work includes legal research and advice, contract drafting and negotiation, governance, regulatory compliance, dispute and litigation support, and monitoring legal developments affecting university operations.
Requirements & qualifications
Applicants need an LL.B., must be licensed to practice law and in good standing with the relevant Bar Association where applicable, and need at least five years of progressively responsible legal experience, preferably in higher education, healthcare or a similarly complex organization. Strong relevant legal expertise plus effective written and spoken English, French and Arabic are required. Candidates must satisfy legal requirements to reside and work in Lebanon.
