Full job description
Lead land and crop planning through harvest, develop protocols for Kenyan conditions, monitor field performance, manage agronomy teams, use soil/weather/yield data to improve practices and work with product and technology teams on farm-management tools.
Requirements & qualifications
Requires 7+ years of hands-on commercial agronomy, prior senior/head agronomist or equivalent experience, open-field crop production expertise, leadership of agronomy/farm teams, strong soil/crop/pest knowledge and accountability for crop performance and yield. Multi-farm experience and familiarity with maize, potatoes, barley, beans and canola are advantageous.
