Lead Consultant Data Analyst

This role combines advanced data analysis with technical leadership and mentorship within a collaborative consulting environment. You will translate complex datasets into actionable insights that help clients make informed strategic decisions. The position involves designing reliable data models, optimizing analytical solutions, and strengthening data quality and accessibility. You will work closely with business stakeholders, data engineers, and data scientists to deliver solutions aligned with organizational goals. As a senior member of the team, you will also guide junior analysts and communicate findings to executive audiences. Lead the analysis and interpretation of complex data to generate actionable insights and support strategic business decisions. Mentor and coach junior data analysts, supporting their technical development and professional growth. Partner with stakeholders to define data-driven solutions that align analytical initiatives with business objectives. Design, implement, and optimize robust data models and analytical architecture to support business needs. Develop advanced SQL queries for efficient data extraction, transformation, analysis, and performance optimization. Lead the creation and optimization of dashboards, reports, and data visualizations using appropriate analytical tools. Promote strong practices in data governance, data quality, security, and analytical reliability. Identify and support the adoption of new data analysis tools, technologies, and methodologies. Collaborate with data engineers and data scientists to improve data pipelines, accessibility, and analytical capabilities. Translate complex analytical findings into clear, actionable recommendations for senior and executive stakeholders. Lead Agile data analysis initiatives and help manage priorities and backlogs in alignment with broader business strategy. Requirements: 6+ years of experience in data analysis or a related analytical field. Expert-level SQL skills, including advanced querying, data transformation, and query optimization. Extensive experience with data visualization and business intelligence platforms such as Tableau or Power BI. Strong understanding of cloud analytics technologies and platforms such as Google Cloud, AWS, or Microsoft Azure. Proven ability to apply statistical techniques to identify trends, generate insights, and support business decisions. Experience leading teams or mentoring junior analysts, with the ability to provide technical guidance and constructive feedback. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in ambiguous or complex environments. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience presenting analytical findings to senior stakeholders. Hands-on experience with Agile methodologies and backlog management tools such as Jira and Confluence. Ability to develop and present executive-level reports, insights, and recommendations. Proficiency in Python or R for data analysis is a plus. Strong collaborative skills and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional technical and business teams.
