What You’ll Do Lead residential HVAC installations from jobsite arrival through final completion. Install furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, air handlers, mini-splits, thermostats, and indoor air quality equipment. Complete required ductwork, refrigerant piping, drainage, venting, gas piping, wiring, and system connections. Direct and train apprentices and installation helpers while maintaining a safe, professional jobsite. Perform equipment startups, charging, airflow verification, testing, and commissioning. Troubleshoot installation issues and ensure all work meets applicable codes, manufacturer requirements, and company standards. Maintain accurate job documentation and communicate equipment, material, or scope concerns promptly. Protect customers’ homes and explain system operation, maintenance, and warranty information upon completion. Coordinate with sales, dispatch, warehouse, service, and management teams to complete installations efficiently. Maintain assigned vehicles, tools, equipment, and inventory. What We’re Looking For An active Connecticut S-1, S-2, D-1, D-2, B-1, or B-2 license is required. Previous experience leading residential HVAC replacement and installation projects. Ability to independently complete HVAC installations from start to finish. Strong knowledge of residential HVAC equipment, ductwork, refrigeration, airflow, venting, and system commissioning. Strong troubleshooting, leadership, and jobsite problem-solving skills. Ability to train and direct apprentices or installation helpers. Commitment to quality workmanship, safety, and code compliance. Strong communication and customer service skills. EPA Universal Certification required. Comfortable using tablets, mobile applications, and field service software. Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record. Ability to perform physical work in attics, basements, crawl spaces, and outdoor conditions. Compensation and Benefits Competitive compensation based on experience.
