Full job description

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Lead Marketing Manager (m/w/d) - Schwerpunkt Performance Marketing based in United States. This role combines strategic marketing leadership with hands-on performance marketing, content, and campaign execution. You will shape market positioning, develop compelling value propositions, and build integrated campaigns that generate measurable business results. A key focus will be creating and optimizing lead funnels across paid media, social channels, newsletters, events, and other touchpoints. You will use tracking, analytics, and reporting to understand what drives conversions and continuously improve marketing performance. Beyond owning marketing initiatives, you will act as a coach and sparring partner for a Digital Marketing team working on customer projects. The environment is highly autonomous, data-driven, collaborative, and focused on practical execution, innovation, and AI-enabled ways of working.

Develop and strengthen market positioning and value propositions for target audiences, supporting the launch of new products and services while working closely with commercial and cross-functional teams throughout the customer journey. Design, manage, and continuously optimize lead-generation funnels and paid campaigns across channels such as Google Ads, Meta, and LinkedIn, using clearly defined KPIs to guide performance. Develop and maintain a robust tracking and attribution framework covering lead sources, channel variations, conversion points, forms, AI-powered chatbots, landing pages, scheduling tools, newsletters, social platforms, and offline interactions. Build clear and actionable reporting that enables leadership and marketing teams to understand campaign effectiveness, identify opportunities, and make informed decisions based on performance data. Plan and execute integrated campaigns across SEA, social media, newsletters, LinkedIn, events, and other relevant channels aligned with the broader marketing and service portfolio. Develop engaging, audience-focused content and storytelling for websites, social media, newsletters, campaigns, and other digital touchpoints, ensuring consistency with strategic marketing priorities. Develop automated customer journeys and manage email marketing activities using platforms such as Brevo and Close CRM. Identify emerging channels, tools, technologies, and AI-driven trends, evaluating their potential and translating relevant opportunities into practical marketing initiatives. Plan, deliver, and evaluate professional events, presentations, and webinar series, using metrics such as cost per lead and conversion rate to determine which formats should be maintained, improved, or discontinued. Serve as a subject-matter lead and sparring partner for the Digital Marketing team by providing strategic input, challenging approaches constructively, supporting complex customer-related questions, and fostering professional development through feedback, reviews, workshops, and internal training. Requirements: Hold a completed degree in marketing, communications, business, economics, or a comparable qualification. Bring at least 6 years of professional experience in B2B marketing, ideally with mid-market clients and within an agency, SaaS, digital, or similarly fast-moving environment. Have a strong understanding of customer-facing marketing projects and the ability to provide well-founded guidance on digital marketing strategy and execution. Demonstrate solid expertise in performance marketing, marketing automation, and web analytics, combined with practical experience in content development and campaign planning. Bring experience in the professional leadership, coaching, or mentoring of marketing colleagues, for example as a Team Lead, Senior Marketing professional, or mentor. Be confident working with common marketing, tracking, analytics, and CRM platforms such as Google Ads, Meta Business Suite, Google Analytics, Brevo, Close CRM, and Canva. Have strong numerical and analytical skills, with the ability to independently interpret KPIs, identify performance levers, and translate insights into concrete actions. Demonstrate a highly execution-oriented mindset, with a focus on delivering effective campaigns and measurable outcomes rather than relying solely on strategic planning. Work in a structured, independent, reliable, and results-oriented manner, with strong ownership of responsibilities and deliverables. Show enthusiasm for AI-supported workflows and ideally bring initial practical experience using AI tools or AI-driven analysis. Benefits: Full-time position with remote work available from within Germany, alongside the option to work from a modern office environment in Offenburg. Structured onboarding with dedicated contacts and support from the beginning. Access to AI-focused tools and licenses, including Vusyon, Claude, ChatGPT, Copilot, and other emerging technologies. Opportunities to experiment with new AI tools and models and contribute insights that can influence how the wider team works. Company-supported pension plan with a 20% employer contribution. Choice between a Hansefit membership or €50 per month through a Spendit Card. 30 days of annual vacation, plus Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve off, with additional vacation days available as tenure increases. Jobticket or JobRad options to support commuting and sustainable mobility. Regular team and company events, including quarterly Allhands meetings, summer celebrations, and holiday events. Flat hierarchies, fast decision-making, and an open, collaborative working environment. Opportunities for professional development, coaching, knowledge sharing, and exposure to evolving digital marketing and AI practices. No specific salary range is stated in the source job description.
