This is a senior product leadership role focused on shaping enterprise-scale external identity and access management capabilities. You will own the product vision, roadmap, and integrated backlog across multiple business areas, brands, and digital channels. The role combines customer experience, cybersecurity, technology modernization, regulatory considerations, and measurable business outcomes. You will lead complex cross-functional initiatives from discovery and prioritization through delivery, launch, adoption, and continuous optimization. Working with engineering, architecture, security, compliance, operations, analytics, and design teams, you will create secure and seamless identity experiences. You will also influence executive stakeholders, resolve competing priorities, and drive adoption of reusable enterprise capabilities. This opportunity is ideal for a strategic product leader who can balance customer needs, security, operational excellence, and enterprise value.
Define product strategy and vision: Establish and communicate a clear multi-year product vision and roadmap for external identity and access management, aligning priorities with enterprise strategy, customer needs, security objectives, regulatory obligations, and business outcomes. Own the integrated product backlog: Maintain and continuously prioritize the enterprise backlog across business areas, platforms, domains, and customer journeys, balancing modernization, security, compliance, production health, technical enablement, and business commitments. Lead product lifecycle execution: Drive discovery, business-case development, requirements definition, prioritization, delivery, launch readiness, adoption, optimization, and modernization across identity and access capabilities. Shape identity experiences: Guide capabilities including registration, sign-in, multifactor authentication, account recovery, identity verification, federation, single sign-on, authorization, profile management, and delegated access. Drive enterprise alignment: Build strong partnerships across business units and shared-service teams, resolving dependencies and competing priorities while keeping decisions focused on customer impact, enterprise value, risk, and strategic alignment. Lead modernization: Promote reusable enterprise capabilities, reduce unnecessary fragmentation, and improve the security, reliability, scalability, interoperability, maintainability, and usability of identity platforms and journeys. Champion customer experience: Gather and synthesize feedback from customers, providers, caregivers, business partners, service teams, and operational stakeholders, using journey insights and production data to identify friction and prioritize improvements. Establish performance measures: Define and monitor product and journey KPIs such as adoption, registration and sign-in success, recovery completion, authentication friction, reliability, security outcomes, cost, speed, and business impact. Manage governance and risk: Ensure product decisions and delivery requirements align with architecture, security, privacy, accessibility, compliance, data, risk, and governance standards. Improve delivery discipline: Establish clear acceptance criteria and promote strong Definition of Ready and Definition of Done practices, including dependency identification, testing, UAT, production validation, documentation, monitoring, and business acceptance. Communicate with senior stakeholders: Provide transparent visibility into roadmap progress, risks, dependencies, funding needs, milestones, decisions, and value realization while facilitating executive-level alignment. Drive measurable outcomes: Track product health and post-launch performance, identify gaps, and lead corrective or optimization actions to improve customer outcomes, platform reliability, operational efficiency, and delivery predictability. Requirements Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience. Product leadership experience: Progressive experience in product management, digital product strategy, platform product management, identity and access management, or related business and technology roles. Complex program leadership: Demonstrated success leading complex, cross-functional initiatives from discovery through delivery, launch, and optimization. Product strategy expertise: Proven ability to define product vision and roadmaps, manage integrated backlogs, develop outcome-oriented requirements, prioritize features, and translate strategy into executable plans. Enterprise collaboration: Experience aligning multiple business areas, brands, or organizational stakeholders around shared capabilities and resolving competing priorities. Data-driven decision-making: Ability to combine customer insights, operational feedback, quantitative data, risk considerations, and business objectives to make effective prioritization decisions. Agile delivery: Familiarity with Agile product development, Jira or Azure DevOps, portfolio planning, funding alignment, dependency management, and iterative delivery practices. Identity expertise: Experience with Customer Identity and Access Management (CIAM/XIAM), including registration, authentication, MFA, account recovery, identity verification, federation, authorization, profile management, or delegated access is preferred. Platform modernization: Experience leading enterprise platform or omni-channel modernization across multiple brands, business domains, or lines of business is preferred. Cross-functional technical knowledge: Experience partnering with engineering, architecture, cybersecurity, privacy, compliance, analytics, design, operations, and testing teams. Regulated-industry experience: Experience in healthcare, health insurance, consumer digital products, or another highly regulated industry is preferred. Customer experience orientation: Understanding of journey measurement, accessibility, platform reliability, and secure-by-design product practices. Communication and influence: Strong facilitation, negotiation, communication, and stakeholder-management skills, with the ability to influence technical, business, and executive audiences. Leadership mindset: Demonstrated accountability, collaboration, customer focus, agility, integrity, and the ability to operate effectively amid changing priorities and complex dependencies.
