This is a senior technical leadership opportunity within a growing global engineering organization, focused on an enterprise-scale SaaS platform serving automotive retailers and OEMs worldwide. You will combine hands-on software development with technical leadership, helping shape architecture, engineering standards, and delivery practices. The role offers the opportunity to lead and mentor developers while remaining actively involved in coding and complex technical problem-solving. You will collaborate with Product and Engineering teams across the U.S. and internationally to deliver scalable, secure, and reliable solutions. The position is based in Fort Lauderdale with a hybrid setup, while exceptional remote candidates anywhere in the U.S. may also be considered. It is well suited to an experienced developer who enjoys influencing technical direction while staying close to the code.
Lead and provide day-to-day technical direction to software developers and engineers, supporting delivery and engineering excellence. Remain hands-on with C#/.NET development, software design, architecture, code reviews, and complex technical problem-solving. Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams across multiple locations and time zones to deliver high-quality platform features and enhancements. Mentor and coach developers and senior engineers, helping strengthen technical capabilities and career progression. Ensure solutions are scalable, secure, reliable, maintainable, and aligned with enterprise SaaS standards. Contribute to engineering processes, development standards, CI/CD practices, and technical improvements as the U.S. engineering organization grows. Participate in architectural discussions and long-term system and technology decisions. Promote effective communication and collaboration across distributed teams and cross-functional stakeholders. Diagnose complex technical issues and lead resolution of challenging engineering problems. Contribute to a positive, collaborative, high-performing engineering culture while balancing technical quality, delivery timelines, and business priorities. Support the organization's information security strategy by protecting sensitive data, managing technical risk, and adhering to established security measures and applicable regulations. Requirements: Proven experience as a Lead Developer, Senior Software Engineer, Technical Lead, or similar senior engineering role in SaaS, enterprise software, or another complex technology environment. Strong hands-on expertise in C#, .NET/.NET Core, and SQL/T-SQL. Solid knowledge of database design, performance optimization, and query tuning. Experience developing front-end functionality using HTML, JavaScript, and Razor. Practical experience with Microsoft Azure and Azure DevOps or equivalent cloud and CI/CD technologies. Proficiency with Visual Studio and/or VS Code. Strong understanding of software architecture, system design, scalability, security, and modern software development practices. Demonstrated experience leading, mentoring, or developing engineers through technical expertise and influence. Strong communication and collaboration skills, particularly within geographically distributed and international teams. Ability to make sound technical decisions while balancing engineering quality, delivery requirements, and business priorities. Experience in automotive technology, enterprise SaaS, high-availability systems, or similarly complex environments is highly desirable. Experience helping establish, grow, or scale an engineering team or technical function is a plus. Experience with globally distributed engineering organizations, cloud-native development, large-scale SaaS platforms, and cross-functional collaboration is desirable. Benefits: Competitive salary. Generous car allowance. Excellent bonus scheme. Hybrid working in Fort Lauderdale or remote working from elsewhere in the U.S. Four weeks of paid time off. 401(k) plan. Comprehensive health insurance benefits. Regular one-to-one meetings and career development opportunities. Opportunity to influence technical direction, engineering standards, and culture within a growing organization. Exposure to experienced Product and Engineering teams across the U.S. and internationally.
