At Sener, we are delivering some of the region's most complex and innovative Rail & Metro projects. We are looking for a Lead Testing & Commissioning Engineer to join our UAE team, leading Testing & Commissioning activities with a strong focus on system interfaces and integration.
The role will coordinate technical activities across railway systems, contractors, suppliers, and project stakeholders to support successful integrated system delivery.
Key Job Responsibilities:
1. Lead interface and integration activities across Rail & Metro systems during Testing & Commissioning
2. Develop, review, and coordinate Testing & Commissioning strategies, procedures, plans, and technical documentation
3. Coordinate system interfaces between Signaling, Rolling Stock, Traction Power, Telecommunications, SCADA, MEP, and other railway systems
4. Lead technical coordination between clients, contractors, system suppliers, and multidisciplinary engineering teams
5. Review test procedures, test results, technical records, and system integration evidence
6. Identify, manage, and resolve integration issues, test failures, interface conflicts, and technical risks
7. Coordinate verification and validation activities to demonstrate compliance with project requirements
8. Provide technical leadership throughout system integration, Testing & Commissioning, and readiness activities
Job Requirements:
1. Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline
2. 15+ years of overall experience
3. Rail experience is mandatory
4. Extensive Testing & Commissioning experience on complex Rail & Metro systems
5. Strong experience in interface management and systems integration
6. Experience coordinating Testing & Commissioning across multiple railway systems
7. Experience with verification, validation, test procedures, test results, and technical acceptance
8. Strong understanding of railway systems integration and technical interfaces
Preferred Qualifications:
1. UAE Rail & Metro experience
2. Experience working with major railway system integrators
3. Experience on complex automated railway systems
4. Experience managing multidisciplinary Testing & Commissioning teams
5. UAE residency is preferred
