Full job description

Your Career

At Faceland, our website is our most important customer touchpoint across five European countries. It is not just one of our channels, it is the channel.

As Lead Web & Organic Growth, you will own everything related to our website: its technical performance, organic visibility, user experience and conversion performance. You will ensure our website continuously evolves to deliver the best possible customer journey while driving measurable business growth.

You will manage our CMS environment, coordinate external technical partners and collaborate closely with SEO specialists, UX experts and the wider Digital Marketing team. You will report directly to the Head of Digital Marketing.

This is not a maintenance role. We are looking for someone who proactively identifies opportunities, takes ownership and delivers results across all five of our European markets.

What you'll be doing

  • Continuously improving the technical performance of our website.
  • Managing our CMS environment and ensuring all content is accurate, up to date and market-specific.
  • Optimising the customer journey, from landing pages through to the online booking flow.
  • Driving sustainable organic growth through SEO and GEO optimisation.
  • Increasing website conversion through CRO initiatives and continuous optimisation of our website and booking platform.
  • Managing external agencies and technical development partners.
  • Monitoring and improving KPIs including technical website performance, organic traffic, online customer experience and website conversion.

What's In It For You?

  • Ownership of the primary digital channel of a fast-growing, private equity-backed European company.
  • Direct collaboration with the Head of Digital Marketing, offering short decision lines and plenty of autonomy.
  • The opportunity to make a real impact across five European markets.
  • Flexible hybrid working. This role can be performed from the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany or Italy, with regular collaboration and occasional travel to our headquarters in Capelle aan den IJssel when needed.
  • 30 vacation days (based on full-time employment).
  • Travel allowance where applicable.
  • Plenty of opportunities to grow as both the company and the role continue to evolve.

Must Haves

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree, or equivalent working and thinking level.
  • At least 4 years of experience in website management or digital marketing.
  • Strong expertise in SEO, CRO and technical website performance.
  • Experience managing external agencies or technical partners.
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into actionable improvements.
  • A proactive attitude; you identify opportunities and take ownership rather than waiting for direction.
  • Ownership mentality with a strong focus on delivering results.
  • Fluent English is required. Dutch or German would be considered a significant plus.

Faceland's Mission
