MAIN and AEMFI are accepting registrations through 23 September 2026 for a three-day leadership and management training for microfinance-sector decision-makers in Addis Ababa on 12–14 October.

The training develops practical leadership, governance, team-management, communication, change-management, innovation, risk-management and sustainability skills for microfinance institutions. Published registration tiers are USD 200 for national participants from MAIN member institutions, USD 650 for international participants from MAIN member institutions, and USD 300 for non-member institutions. MAIN states that accommodation and meals are fully covered during the training; international airfare may be reimbursed up to USD 500 after submission of the required supporting documents. International-member fees also cover training materials, tuition, coffee breaks, lunches, dinners and accommodation. Because fees vary by participant category, no single fee is normalized in the application field.
Eligibility requirements
Board members, CEOs, senior managers, HR managers, operations managers, emerging leaders, supervisors and other professionals involved in financial inclusion or microfinance institutions. MAIN member conditions require the institution to be current with membership fees.
