Loughborough University is recruiting a Lecturer or Senior Lecturer in Embedded Systems and Intelligent Computing to strengthen research and teaching across embedded systems, digital electronics, cybersecurity and edge AI.
Full job description
This is a full-time, open-ended, campus-based academic appointment in the Wolfson School of Mechanical, Electrical and Manufacturing Engineering. The published salary range is GBP 47,389–56,535 at grade 7 or GBP 59,966–67,468 at grade 8, subject to annual pay award. BPSS security clearance or higher will be required for relevant work.
Requirements & qualifications
Applicants should have a PhD or equivalent research experience in Embedded Systems, Digital Electronics, Cybersecurity, Edge Artificial Intelligence or a closely related field, expertise in the design, implementation and security of embedded systems, and the ability to contribute to university research and teaching.
