Full job description
The Legal Advisor leads delivery of the Legal Unit's services, manages and mentors staff, supports regulatory and legislative work, provides training on fisheries enforcement and legal mechanisms, contributes to management and projects, works with national, regional and international partners, and supports stakeholder engagement.
Requirements & qualifications
The official NORMA announcement requires an LL.B., J.D. or equivalent legal qualification, admission to the FSM Bar or another jurisdiction, and at least five years of progressively responsible legal-practice experience, preferably in fisheries, maritime, environmental, natural-resources or administrative law.
