The national competition accepts submissions from 1–28 September 2026 on the theme 'Why Space Science Matters in Liberia.' Essays are submitted through the secure online portal and reviewed anonymously. Winners receive cash awards, certificates and the opportunity to present during the World Space Week Liberia 2026 programme on 9 October.
