Full job description
The role plans and supervises library services, manages budgets and acquisitions, supports teaching and research, provides reference and information-literacy services, develops learning and discovery tools, supports postgraduate students, and contributes to professional and departmental activities.
Requirements & qualifications
Candidates must possess at minimum a master's degree from a recognised university in Library and Information Science or a closely related field. The official vacancy also seeks significant teaching, learning and research support experience, outreach and information-literacy experience, staff-management experience, online teaching familiarity, and competence with information technology and social networking tools. Additional supervisory, academic-library and scholarly experience is advantageous.
