Limited Medical Radiologic Technologist

Duties and Responsibilities Perform limited diagnostic radiographic procedures in accordance with established protocols Prepare, position, and assist patients during imaging exams to ensure comfort and accuracy Operate and maintain radiologic and DEXA equipment safely and effectively Ensure proper radiation safety practices to minimize exposure to patients and staff Verify patient information and maintain accurate documentation of procedures Adhere to departmental policies, procedures, and regulatory guidelines Maintain cleanliness and organization of imaging rooms and equipment Communicate effectively with patients, providers, and team members Recognize equipment malfunctions and report issues promptly Provide excellent customer service while addressing patient needs and concerns Perform other duties as assigned Education and Experience High school diploma or equivalent required Completion of an accredited radiologic technology program (limited scope or equivalent) Current registration as a Limited Medical Radiologic Technologist as required by the state Valid CPR certification required Previous clinical or radiology experience preferred but not required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Knowledge of basic radiologic procedures, anatomy, and patient positioning techniques Understanding of radiation safety principles and infection control standards Ability to operate radiographic and DEXA equipment competently Strong attention to detail and ability to follow established protocols Effective communication and interpersonal skills Ability to provide compassionate, patient-centered care Basic computer skills and familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems Ability to work in a fast-paced clinical environment and manage multiple tasks Physical ability to stand, walk, and assist patients, including lifting up to 40 pounds Please note this job description is not designed to contain a comprehensive list of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.
