Job Overview

Pulse is currently seeking a motivated and hardworking Band 5 Dietitian to join a dietetics team in West London. This role offers the opportunity to work within a busy acute teaching hospital, supporting patients across general medicine and acute surgical wards. You will manage a large and varied caseload, typically handling 20–30 patients, while also supporting colleagues across the service. The role includes involvement in complex discharge planning, particularly for patients requiring home enteral feeding.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a large acute caseload across general medicine and surgical wards.

  • Deliver nutritional assessments, care plans, and ongoing patient management.

  • Support complex discharge planning, including home enteral feeding arrangements.

  • Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to optimise patient outcomes.

  • Provide cross-cover for colleagues during planned and unplanned leave.

Qualifications and Experience

  • HCPC registered Dietitian

  • Previous NHS experience is essential.

  • Experience in acute general medicine and/or surgical wards desirable.

  • Ability to manage a busy and fast-paced caseload.

  • Strong communication, organisational, and teamwork skills.
