Working Hours: Full-time or Part-time (flexible)

Rate: £30.00–£37.00 per hour (dependent on experience)

Job Overview

Pulse is currently seeking a skilled and motivated Adult Rehab Speech and Language Therapist (SALT) to join the team at TEM House, Milton Keynes. This specialist rehabilitation centre is part of the Brain Injury Rehabilitation Trust and provides high-quality neurobehavioural assessment and rehabilitation for individuals with acquired brain injury (ABI).

The successful candidate will work within a multi/interdisciplinary team, delivering speech and language therapy input aligned with the BIRT Neurobehavioural model. You will lead on SaLT provision within the service and collaborate closely with internal and external professionals, family members, and service users.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide specialist SaLT assessment and intervention for adults with acquired brain injury

  • Lead on SaLT provision within the neurorehabilitation service

  • Work collaboratively within a multi/interdisciplinary team

  • Liaise with families, carers, and external professionals to support holistic care

  • Contribute to service development and uphold best practice standards

  • Maintain accurate clinical documentation in line with professional guidelines

Requirements

  • HCPC registration (required)

  • Experience in adult neurorehabilitation (preferred)

  • Strong clinical reasoning and communication skills

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

  • Experience with the BIRT Neurobehavioural model (desirable)
