They operate a factory based in the UK specialising in the collection and recycling of plastic waste generated from industry and manufacturing.

About the role You will act as a key partner to our commercial teams by creating logistics solutions that help profitable deals happen.

You’ll be responsible for:

  • Securing the most competitive freight rates across global routes
  • Managing relationships with shipping lines, forwarders, hauliers and warehouses
  • Supporting shipments across North America, South America, Türkiye, Australia and Asia
  • Solving urgent logistics issues quickly and commercially
  • Improving margins through smarter freight buying and routing
  • Providing market updates on freight trends, risks and opportunities
  • Coordinating bookings, documentation and delivery performance
  • Working closely with traders, suppliers and customers globally
  • Helping improve systems, processes and ways of working

Requirements

You’ll Be Great If You Are:

  • Fluent in English and Mandarin or Cantonese
  • Strong communicator who can build relationships globally
  • Commercially minded and cost-aware
  • Calm under pressure and highly organised
