The officer plans and coordinates shipments to remote sites, manages suppliers and transport providers, supports inventory availability and customs clearance, and analyzes logistics data to improve cost and process performance.
Requirements & qualifications
SBM Offshore lists a bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management or a related field and 2-4 years of logistics, supply-chain or inventory-management experience, ideally in oil and gas or a related industry.
