Schedule: Full Time/ Job Type: Hybrid Salary Type: Hourly Req #: 3252 Uber Freight is offering an internal growth opportunity for team members currently in a Customer Support Specialist role who are ready to expand their scope and take on broader end-to-end transportation responsibilities. This role provides the opportunity to move from primarily support-based work into more hands-on transportation execution and account ownership, supporting: PETSmart (Schedule Wed-Sun 6am-3pm or Sat - Tues 0600-1700) In this role, you will gain increased exposure to shipment lifecycle management, carrier coordination, appointment scheduling, and customer communication while directly supporting service performance and operational execution. This opportunity is best suited for individuals who consistently demonstrate strong execution, reliability in meeting SLAs, cross-functional collaboration, and a desire to deepen their operational expertise within Uber Freight. This position follows a hybrid schedule and is based out of our Rogers, AR office. What The Candidate Will Do Leverage Uber Freight’s Transportation Management System (TMS) to manage the full order lifecycle, including load building, tendering, tracking, and execution Drive exceptional on-time pickup and delivery performance across assigned accounts Build and maintain strong carrier relationships to ensure consistent service delivery Execute freight coverage strategies using routing guides and spot market options, including rate negotiation when needed Optimize transportation plans through consolidation, routing, and mode selection to balance cost and service Monitor shipment data integrity and proactively resolve system errors or exceptions Identify trends and proactively prevent service failures through data-driven insights Communicate professionally and effectively with shippers, receivers, carriers, and internal stakeholders Analyze performance trends across carriers, shippers, and receivers to recommend service improvements Resolve carrier invoice discrepancies within TMS financial workflows Support onboarding and training of new users on systems and customer processes Document and execute customer-specific SOPs with accuracy and consistency Serve as a key point of contact for issue resolution between carriers and customers Apply transportation knowledge including equipment types, market dynamics, and shipment requirements to support execution excellence Basic Qualifications 1+ year of experience in transportation, logistics, or supply chain operations Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or Google Workspace Preferred Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Transportation, Logistics, or Supply Chain Management 3+ years of experience in transportation or logistics operations 2+ years of experience with Uber Freight’s Transportation Management System (TMS) Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or Google Workspace Benefits & Compensation for U.S. Employees Employees working more than 30 hours in the US at Uber Freight are eligible for benefits like a company sponsored health plan, dental and vision benefits, 401k match, financial and mental wellness benefits, parental leave, short- and long-term disability coverage, life insurance and more.
