Responsibilities
- Set up, operate, and maintain production machinery to ensure seamless operations throughout the night.
- Perform regular inspections and troubleshoot any mechanical issues that may arise.
- Monitor production output to guarantee quality standards are consistently met.
- Document machine settings and production data accurately to maintain compliance.
- Collaborate closely with the production team to achieve nightly targets and maintain a smooth workflow.
- Contribute to a positive and safe working environment through adherence to health and safety protocols.
Hours of Work
- Sunday to Thursday: 22:45-07:15
- Hourly rate of £13.17 rising to £14.23 after training
Requirements
- Proven experience as a machine setter or in a similar production role.
- Excellent understanding of machinery operations and maintenance, particularly in food production settings.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot effectively under pressure.
- Attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining quality standards.
- Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset to foster collaboration.
- Motivation to contribute to a safe and efficient workplace.
