Arabian Explosives (AREX) is looking for an experienced Maintenance Manager to lead all maintenance activities across our manufacturing operations.

This role will have responsibility for maintaining operational reliability across all AREX facilities, including ANFO, emulsion, detonator production, utilities, infrastructure, and our growing Mobile Manufacturing Unit (MMU) fleet.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead all maintenance, reliability, and asset management activities across the business • Develop and implement preventative and predictive maintenance programmes • Manage maintenance teams, contractors, and specialist service providers • Improve equipment reliability, plant availability, and maintenance performance • Support plant expansions, equipment installations, and commissioning activities • Ensure all maintenance activities are conducted safely and in compliance with applicable regulations

What We Are Looking For

• Degree qualified in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, or a related engineering discipline • Strong maintenance leadership experience within manufacturing, mining, chemical, explosives, or heavy industrial operations • Proven experience managing both fixed plant and mobile equipment assets • Strong knowledge of reliability engineering, maintenance planning, and asset lifecycle management • Experience leading technical teams and driving continuous improvement initiatives
