Full job description

Revolution Medicines is a global, commercial-state oncology company dedicated to discovering, developing and delivering innovative medicines for patients with RAS-addicted cancers. Leveraging its differentiated RAS(ON) tri-complex inhibitor platform, the company is advancing a broad, integrated portfolio of oral RAS(ON) inhibitors designed to directly target the active, cancer-driving state of RAS. Founded on rigorous scientific inquiry and a willingness to challenge long-held assumptions, Revolution Medicines is committed to changing the trajectory of disease for patients with RAS-addicted cancers worldwide. Our people are united by a shared way of working: follow the science, challenge assumptions, act with urgency and hold ourselves to a high standard of rigor—all in service of patients. The Opportunity: Revolution Medicines is seeking a Manager, Human Resources (HR) Operations, Japan to lead the delivery of reliable, consistent, and efficient employee services and HR processes. Translate HR policies and functional priorities into documented procedures, controls, service standards, and teamwork plans. Manage HR information system workflows, data quality, reporting, and issue resolution in partnership with HR, Payroll, Finance, Legal, Compliance, Communications and IT. Coordinate HR operations vendors, monitor service performance and operating expenses, and address service risks and escalations. Track service metrics and employee feedback, identify recurring issues, and lead continuous improvement of HR operations processes to increase quality, compliance, efficiency, and scalability. Lead the responsible use of technology, including AI and automation, to simplify workflows, reduce manual effort, and improve data quality and employee service in partnership with HR, IT, Legal, and data privacy stakeholders. Represent HR Operations in cross-functional and regional or global projects by defining requirements, coordinating dependencies, managing implementation activities, and supporting adoption. Set team goals, assign work, coach team members, support professional development, and reinforce accountability for service delivery. Required Skills, Experience and Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience. A minimum of six years of progressive HR operations experience, including at least two years leading employees or significant operational workstreams. Strong knowledge of employee lifecycle processes, HR systems, data controls, and service delivery. Working knowledge of applicable Japanese employment requirements and employee data privacy practices. Experience managing operational projects, vendors, expenses, and cross-functional dependencies. Strong analytical judgment, problem-solving skills, and clear written and verbal communication. Native-level Japanese and business-level English proficiency, with the ability to communicate clearly with employees, leaders, vendors, and global partners. Preferred Skills: Experience in biotechnology, pharmaceuticals, or another regulated, high-growth environment. Experience with Workday or a comparable enterprise HR platform. Experience supporting multi-state or global employee populations.
