About the Position:
Wynn Al Marjan Island is looking for a skilled Manager - Investigations to join our Investigations team.
The primary duties and responsibilities of this role are:
- Conduct complex investigations, request video coverage, and initiate engineering work orders.
- Foster team commitment, motivate staff, and encourage an inclusive workplace.
- Mediate employee concerns and resolve conflicts professionally.
- Provide objective feedback, guidance, and learning opportunities to develop team abilities.
- Recognize and mentor performance, motivating others toward shared goals.
- Communicate clearly and concisely, tailoring messages to the audience.
- Evaluate conditions and events, identify problems, and base decisions on sound reasoning.
- Set priorities, develop action plans, and articulate vision, strategy, and goals.
- Document incidents accurately and promptly in investigative reports.
- Complete various investigative reports, including missing property and misconduct.
- Utilize relevant forms and documents for Corporate Investigations.
- Identify affected people and witnesses, ensuring proper procedures are followed.
- Gather pertinent information to determine if incident reports are necessary.
- Correct conditions or hazards contributing to incidents.
- Collect and secure evidence, ensuring proper chain of custody.
- Assist outside agencies, such as police and regulatory authorities.
- Collaborate with other investigative departments and share details when needed.
- Provide follow-up and contact information to affected individuals.
- Maintain direct communication and timely notifications with management and departments.
- Ensure confidentiality of sensitive information.
- Remain calm and rational during high-stress situations.
- Assist with training opportunities for team members.
- Stay updated on department developments.
- Manage internal and external guest relations with patience and diplomacy.
- Assist with scene management during security incidents.
- Ensure timely submission of Investigators' reports.
- Understand hazardous materials and relevant regulations.
- Maintain industry knowledge through ongoing education and training.
- Work with guest claims and risk management to mitigate company liability.
About You:
- Required: Bachelor’s degree in related fields.
- Preferred: Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE)
- Preferred: Professional Certified Investigator (PCI)
- Preferred: Minimum 5 years’ experience as an investigator.
- Required: Minimum 3 years’ experience as a manager or above.
- Preferred: Prior law enforcement or military experience.
- Preferred: Past work experience in the United Arab Emirates.
- Strong leadership, effective management and good communication skills.
- Self-starter possessing strong analytical, organizational, and decision-making skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills. Must be confident interacting with executive leaders.
- Strong program and project management skills.
- Detailed oriented and ability to deliver quality products on schedule.
- Strong presenter and public speaker.
- High proficiency with Microsoft programs, including Word, Excel, Power Point, and database programs.
- Able to work on shifts and be flexible regarding work schedules according to business demand.
