Manager (Yardi)

Job Summary The Yardi Implementation Project Manager leads the planning, execution, and delivery of Yardi software implementation projects, including new deployments, module rollouts, upgrades, and data conversions. This role owns the project plan end-to-end — scope, schedule, budget, risk, and stakeholder communication — while partnering closely with functional SMEs, technical resources, and client/business stakeholders to ensure Yardi is configured and adopted successfully. The ideal candidate combines strong traditional PM discipline with familiarity with property management/real estate operations and ERP-style system rollouts. Key Responsibilities Manage all facets of the Yardi implementation project, including budget, schedule, resourcing, procurement, quality, and risk Develop and maintain the project charter, scope of work, milestones, and RAID (risks, assumptions, issues, dependencies) log Build and run governance structures: steering committee updates, status reporting, and meeting cadences Coordinate across workstreams (functional configuration, data conversion, integrations, reporting, training, testing) to identify interdependencies and remove roadblocks Partner with the Yardi SME/process lead and business stakeholders to translate business requirements into project deliverables and timelines Own the project schedule for key implementation phases: discovery/business process review, solution design, configuration, data conversion, conference room pilot (CRP), user acceptance testing (UAT), go-live, and post-go-live stabilization Manage change control, scope changes, and their impact on timeline and budget Drive organizational change management activities, including training schedules, communication plans, and go-live readiness assessments Proactively identify and mitigate project risks; escalate issues appropriately and drive resolution Track and report on project financials, resource utilization, and vendor/consultant deliverables Maintain thorough project documentation and ensure knowledge transfer to operational teams post-implementation Required Qualifications 5+ years of project management experience, with a demonstrated focus on IT/enterprise software implementations Direct experience managing a Yardi implementation, upgrade, or major module rollout (Voyager, Investment Accounting, Debt Manager, etc.) strongly preferred Experience managing data conversion projects Proficiency with project management tools (MS Project, Smartsheet, or similar) and Microsoft 365 (Excel, Teams) PMP certification or equivalent project management training preferred Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate technical detail into business-friendly updates for executive stakeholders Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple workstreams and competing priorities simultaneously Experience in real estate, property management, or related industries is a strong plus Core Competencies Structured, detail-oriented project planning and execution Skilled facilitator who can align cross-functional teams and drive accountability Comfortable balancing business needs against technical/system constraints Calm under pressure during go-live and cutover periods High degree of self-motivation and independent judgment   Compensation and Benefits   Learning and development: Vast opportunities to self-development, unlimited access to LinkedIn Learning Flexible working: Work-life balance with flexible schedule Community events: We offer a range of social events and meetups 25 days’ holiday in addition to public holidays Supplemented medical, dental and vision coverage 401(k) with employer match Wellness initiatives to promote healthy working, including an allowance for remote working technology Access to discounted travel, tickets, events, and more through our benefit partner    There are a wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to - skill sets, experience and training, and licensure and certifications. A reasonable estimate of the salary range is  $130,000 – $160,000 USD for US based hires and $150,000 – $170,000 CAD for Toronto based hires , subject to change based on salary benchmarking. In addition to this salary, candidates will be eligible for a variable bonus.
