About The Opportunity

OKX runs one of the largest crypto exchange businesses in the world.

Our institutional banking relationships are central to the next phase of growth.

We are hiring a senior banker in Singapore to own the global bank relationship book under a single point of accountability, reporting to the Global Head of Strategic Partnerships.

This person is the institutional face of OKX to global banks, and the institutional face of global banks inside OKX.

What You’ll Be Doing

Own the global bank relationship book as a portfolio.

Execute relationship strategy account by account across G-SIBs, and regional banks for the full operating and custody bank stack across all OKX regions.

Sequence partnership asks, manage escalations, source new partners, and own the executive ladder at each institution.

Serve as HQ's senior banking voice.

When the founder, Singapore C-Suite, or Global Head of Strategic Partnerships and his Financial Institutions Business Development Team needs a read on a counterparty — credit posture, risk appetite, partnership readiness, blockers, operationalization status and timeline — you are the call.

Host visiting bank executives, and you draft the narrative when OKX briefs local executives, the board, risk, payment product, or internal audit on the banking book.

Build the cultural bridge between bank and exchange.

The hardest part of being a G-SIB's chosen crypto counterparty is building and balancing the trust and business relationships between your internal and external stakeholders.

Translate structural and cultural differences in risk appetite, escalation culture, compliance, control, product, and operational reliance — Actively unblock issues before they become incidents.

Drive strategic banking workstreams.

Coordinate strategic banking and commercial partnerships with banks, working alongside the product and regional teams responsible for each initiative.

What We Look For In You

15–20 years inside a tier-1 global bank, with deep experience across two or more of the following:

Transaction and Commercial Banking / Cash Management / Correspondent Banking — The operating-account world: USD clearing, FX, wires, intraday liquidity, global T+0 rebalancing.

Coverage / Financial Institutions Group / Senior Relationship Management — Sector strategy, account planning, executive escalation. The senior-banker register.

Prime Brokerage / Securities Services / Triparty Custody — Financing, securities lending, security interest, triparty mechanics.

Digital Assets / Institutional Crypto Banking — A tier-1 bank's institutional digital-asset desk or equivalent. Already speaks both languages.

Operational and strategic understanding of:

How to establish long-term trust with G-SIBs as a crypto exchange counterparty;

Bank KYC and onboarding committee decision-making;

Counterparty credit treatment of a crypto exchange;

Triparty custody mechanics and security-interest structures;

Settlement, reconciliation, and intraday flow differences between bank and crypto ops;

Media hit handling and reputational risk;

Sanctions screening and AML interface between bank and exchange.

Meaningful experience in building credibility and fluency across Crypto and TradFi spaces.

Executive presence and communication range — You can cover UK / US East Coast / Singapore time zones. Regular international travel may be required.
