Your Mission

We are looking for a Marketing Manager Iberia to join the Spanish local team. Your mission is to drive scalable user and business growth across the Spanish and Portuguese market. You will design, execute, and rigorously measure high-impact marketing strategies, balancing local insights with central Growth resources. You will be able to work on a large variety of projects to increase BlaBlaCar’s impact and take the company to its next growth stage. Serving as the primary champion for our Spanish community, you will align internal product and service developments with local member needs and insights to strengthen BlaBlaCar’s position as a market leader.

Your responsibilities

Objective Setting & Tactical Planning: Translate regional business goals into actionable marketing roadmaps, identifying optimal channels, tactics, and resource allocation. Campaign Strategy & Execution: Design, launch, and optimize integrated marketing campaigns across Spain and Portugal, with the help of our central Growth team, to drive user acquisition and retention. Project & Budget Management: Manage marketing initiatives end-to-end, ensuring timely delivery, strict budget adherence, and maximum ROI. Monitor, format, and report on key marketing KPIs, establishing robust measurement processes to evaluate campaign efficiency. Stakeholder & Leadership Alignment: Partner closely with central Growth, Product, and local teams while delivering regular performance updates and strategic briefings to leadership. Content Creation & Channel Management: Develop compelling localized marketing assets, primarily for CRM sequences and organic/paid social media, to engage driver and passenger communities.

Market Insights & Strategic Analysis

Business & Performance Deep Dives: Conduct rigorous analysis of regional business activity, funnels, and campaign metrics to uncover growth drivers and performance bottlenecks. Actionable Intelligence: Synthesize complex data sets and members 'insights into clear, executive-ready insights that directly inform product direction, local messaging, and strategic decision-making.

Your Qualifications

Minimum 5 years of work experience in marketing and/or business development Entrepreneurial mindset: autonomous, proactive, sense of ownership and hands-on profile Strong data and analytical skills, business and data driven Creative mind, great content and copywriting skills Native Spanish speaker and fluent in English. Portuguese would also be an advantage You have excellent communication skills, you’re humble, and you enjoy sharing & learning from others Ability to work autonomously under tight deadlines Ability to work in a multicultural environment Demonstrable experience in launching a new product/service, project management, ownership of a product or business line, etc.
