Learn more at AMPSortation.com.  AMP is looking for a Materials Operations Clerk for our Commerce City location.  This role will work closely with our facility operations, finance and business development teams. This role requires a deep interest in recycling, as well as flexibility and adaptability to the evolving needs of AMP programs, projects and organization. Responsibilities:  Materials Planning  Interfaces with the Customer on the planning and forecasting of customer orders to meet shipments Monitor material demand Maintain and distribute daily/weekly run schedule Maintain optimum inventory levels to ensure on-time deliveries to meet customer requirements and company financial goals Inventory Management Communicate with plant colleagues on inventories and anticipated production needs Ensure and capture inventory accuracy of downgraded and rejected material from suppliers, in process and postproduction Responsible for total inventory accuracy of 98%+ in value Ensure material storage is in compliance with standards Logistics Oversee procedures for shipping, receiving and storing raw materials Organize and manage deliveries, advise shipment delays and/or information necessary to set up deliveries. Initiate traces with carriers for proof of deliveries when needed Resolve invoicing issues in cooperation with suppliers and accounts payable Participate in the annual physical inventory Ensure that the company’s standard practices and procedures are followed in connection with all materials department functions General Ensures that equipment is properly cleaned and stored at the end of each shift. Adheres to all company and regulatory safety standards and rules. Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
