The programme supports women returning to employment and includes specialised training through the Mauritius Institute of Training and Development in areas such as hairdressing, beauty therapy, bakery, early childhood education, elderly care, flower arrangement, gardening and basic IT. Candidates register at the nearest Employment Information Centre to obtain an Occupational Classification Number.
Eligibility requirements
Applicant must be an unemployed woman aged 30 or above but below 60 and be registered as unemployed at an Employment Information Centre.
