Applications remain open for the 2027 McCall MacBain cohort for students and graduates of universities in Canada and the United States, as well as Canadians abroad, for eligible master's and professional programs at McGill University.
Complete scholarship details
Up to 30 full McCall MacBain Scholarships and 100 entrance awards are offered annually. The full scholarship covers tuition and fees for an eligible McGill program, a CAD 2,300 monthly living stipend during academic terms, summer funding options and a relocation grant where applicable. The scholarship application is separate from McGill admission.
Eligibility requirements
For the 2027 cohort, applicants must either be on track to earn their first bachelor's degree by August 2027, have earned their first bachelor's degree in January 2021 or later, or have earned it earlier and have been age 30 or younger on January 1, 2026. Applicants must also meet the minimum degree and language requirements for an eligible McGill program. The still-open September 23 deadline applies to students and graduates of universities in Canada or the United States and to Canadians abroad; the international deadline for applicants from universities in other countries passed on August 19, 2026.
