MDR Analyst

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a MDR Analyst based in India. Join a global cybersecurity operations environment focused on protecting sensitive enterprise data around the clock. As an MDR Analyst, you’ll monitor, triage, investigate, and escalate security detections where customer data may be at risk. You’ll develop strong expertise across data security, threat detection, and incident response while working with a broad security technology ecosystem. The role combines analytical investigation, customer collaboration, documentation, and continuous improvement of detection processes. You’ll work alongside security teams across regions and time zones as part of a 24/7 global service. Monitor security detections and respond to alerts within the data security platform. Perform thorough alert triage using critical analysis and structured investigative methodologies. Validate investigative findings and coordinate response activities with customers and internal security teams. Investigate potential security incidents involving sensitive enterprise data and determine appropriate escalation paths. Clearly document investigative findings, actions, and outcomes in CRM and other relevant systems. Support the development, documentation, analysis, testing, and continuous improvement of threat detection systems. Contribute to the creation and refinement of security playbooks, runbooks, and operational procedures. Maintain awareness of operational SLAs and ensure investigations and escalations are handled within required timeframes. Collaborate with global security teams across regions and time zones to support continuous customer coverage. Apply analytical and creative problem-solving skills to emerging security issues and unfamiliar investigative scenarios. Requirements: 0–3 years of experience in cybersecurity, security operations, or a related field. Degree, certification, or formal training in cybersecurity, or demonstrated ability to work across security monitoring, detection, investigation, and incident response disciplines. Knowledge of common enterprise security technologies, including firewalls, IDS, EDR, antivirus, DLP, DSPM, PAM, and IAM. Familiarity with security operations disciplines such as alert monitoring, threat detection, incident response, security infrastructure management, and system or architecture hardening. Strong analytical, critical-thinking, and creative problem-solving abilities. Excellent written and verbal English communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with both colleagues and customers. Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage responsibilities and deliver outcomes independently. Ability to work effectively within a collaborative, team-oriented security operations environment. Demonstrated ability to learn new technologies, tools, and security concepts quickly. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate investigative findings clearly and accurately. Interest in developing deeper expertise across security operations, data security, detection engineering, and incident response. Benefits: Fully remote position based in India.
