About The Role

We are looking for a Mechatronics Technician (m/f/d) to join our team. You will be responsible for assembling, integrating, and testing electromechanical subsystems of a humanoid robot platform, including actuators, sensors, wiring, and mechanical components. Further, you will support production processes such as 3D printing, soldering, and assembly of mechatronic devices. In the long term, this role is expected to evolve into a key contributor to our robot integration and validation process, owning build procedures, test setups, and helping scale reliable assembly and bring-up workflows across new robot modules.

Your Responsibilities

  • Assemble and integrate actuators, grippers, and sensor modules
  • Perform wiring,testing, and cable management for robot subsystems
  • Support hardware bring-up of new actuator, gripper, and arm modules
  • Assistwith sensor calibration (force/torque sensors, encoders, limit switches)
  • Troubleshoot electromechanical issues during integration and testing
  • Support firmware and software teams during system-level debugging

Essential Skills

  • Technical degree or vocational training in Mechatronics, Robotics, Electronics, or related field
  • Hands-on experience assembling electromechanical systems
  • Experience with motors, gearboxes, actuators, and sensors
  • Ability to read electrical schematics and mechanical drawings
  • Electronics debugging skills (multimeter, oscilloscope preferred)
  • Comfortable working with prototypes and iterative hardware development

Beneficial Skills

  • 1+ years' experience with robotic arms, grippers, or humanoid platforms
  • Familiarity withembeddedservo systems (e.g.,Dynamixel,ODrive, or similar)
  • Basic understanding of embedded systems or ROS2-based robots
  • Experience with calibration and validation of force/torque sensors

Requirements & qualifications
