SEED Madagascar is recruiting a Media and Communications Officer in Fort Dauphin to lead day-to-day social media and content work, support donor communications and fundraising campaigns, and supervise a junior communications colleague.
Full job description
The role is predominantly office-based with occasional travel to rural project sites. It covers social media planning, multimedia content, donor updates, blogs and articles, communications training, campaign coordination, reporting against communications KPIs and brand consistency. The commitment is 24 months, extendable, at 40 hours per week.
Requirements & qualifications
A degree-level qualification in communications, international development or a related field, or equivalent experience, plus about 1–2 years of professional communications, marketing or fundraising experience. High-standard English is required; basic French is desirable.
