About Mood Health
Mood Health is a collaborative mental health group practice working to make high-quality behavioral healthcare accessible to more people.
We serve clients across a wide range of backgrounds, cultures, identities and income levels, including individuals covered by Medi-Cal, Medicare and commercial insurance.
Our clinicians get the flexibility of remote practice without being left to figure everything out themselves. We provide the operational infrastructure, clinical support and steady client demand clinicians need to build a sustainable caseload and focus on patient care.

Build Your Caseload Without Building a Private Practice
Mood Health is hiring independently licensed therapists to provide remote psychotherapy to clients throughout California.
Already licensed in California? Great.
This is a remote, W2, pay-per-encounter position designed for clinicians who want flexibility without having to manage the business side of private practice. We handle client acquisition, billing, scheduling support, technology, and operational needs while you focus on providing great care.
And most importantly: we bring you the clients. Our goal is to build your caseload quickly, typically within your first two weeks of starting.

Clinical support You'll have access to clinical guidance, training, case consultation, and monthly clinical case reviews.
What You'll Do
Provide individual psychotherapy to adult clients through our secure telehealth platform
Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments
Develop and maintain individualized treatment plans
Build strong therapeutic relationships with clients
Deliver compassionate, evidence-based and patient-centered care
Complete timely and accurate clinical documentation
Participate in monthly clinical case reviews with our Lead Psychologist
Collaborate with our clinical and operations teams when additional support is needed
What We're Looking For
Active, unrestricted independent clinical license in good standing
California LCSW, LMFT or LPCC, or willingness and ability to pursue California licensure
Out-of-state independently licensed therapists are encouraged to apply
2+ years of direct clinical experience working with adults
Comfortable providing psychotherapy through telehealth
Comfortable using electronic health records, computers and video-conferencing technology
Strong clinical judgment and communication skills
Compassionate, empathetic and nonjudgmental approach to care
Spanish-English bilingual skills are a plus, but not required
Previous telehealth experience is helpful, but not required.
Compensation
$70 per 53 minute encounter, $40 per no show/non clinical rate
Clinicians may also be eligible for a quarterly bonus based on session availability.
