Full job description
This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Mid-Market Account Executive based in Canada. This is a full-cycle sales role with ownership of a defined mid-market territory and responsibility for driving new business from prospecting through signature. You will engage organizations ranging from 250 to 5,000 employees, managing both complex, longer sales cycles and more transactional opportunities. The role combines self-generated pipeline development with leads provided through marketing and business development teams. You will lead discovery conversations, product demonstrations, proposals, negotiations, and closing activities while maintaining an accurate sales forecast. Success requires strong commercial judgment, exceptional organization, and the ability to manage multiple opportunities without losing momentum. You will work in a fast-moving, entrepreneurial environment with modern sales technology and significant ownership over your results. This is an opportunity to contribute directly to keeping critical physical operations running through technology built for frontline and industrial teams.
Own the full sales cycle for new mid-market accounts, from prospecting and discovery through demonstrations, proposals, negotiations, and contract signature. Consistently achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual new business targets. Generate pipeline through self-directed outbound prospecting while effectively converting leads provided by marketing and business development teams. Lead discovery calls, high-level product demonstrations, presentations, and closing conversations with prospective customers. Accurately forecast monthly and quarterly sales performance, maintaining forecasts within approximately ±15% accuracy. Manage multiple leads, opportunities, demonstrations, proposals, follow-ups, and closing activities simultaneously while maintaining strong organization and attention to detail. Become highly proficient with sales technology and systems such as Salesforce, Outreach, and other tools used throughout the sales process. Develop strong knowledge of the industry and customer challenges, continuously building expertise and sharing relevant insights. Embrace an entrepreneurial mindset, taking ownership, moving quickly, and finding creative ways to overcome obstacles and achieve targets. Manage and support a customer portfolio focused primarily on English-speaking markets, including the US and English-speaking Canada. Requirements: B2B sales experience with at least 3 years of experience in a closing role. Demonstrated success as a sales closer, with the ability to clearly communicate performance metrics and results. Proven willingness and ability to prospect independently and contribute to building your own pipeline. Experience conducting discovery calls and delivering product demonstrations independently. Strong ability to manage complex sales processes while also moving efficiently through more transactional opportunities. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, with the ability to engage customers confidently in daily conversations and written communications. Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and ensure opportunities consistently move forward. Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment while maintaining energy, focus, and accountability. Positive, passionate, creative, analytical, and high-integrity approach to customer engagement and sales. Familiarity with modern sales technology such as Salesforce, Salesloft, or DiscoverOrg is an advantage. Experience working in startups or entrepreneurial environments is a plus. Experience with CMMS or facility operations software is beneficial. Demonstrated success working remotely is an advantage. Benefits: On-target earnings of $126,000–$210,000, including commission. Remote work opportunity for candidates based in Canada. Compensation may include commission, annual bonuses, and equity depending on the role and location. Country-specific benefits covering areas such as health coverage, retirement, and leave. Opportunity to work in a high-ownership, entrepreneurial sales environment. Modern sales technology and systems designed to support full-cycle selling. Exposure to mid-market organizations across industrial, frontline, and operational environments. Opportunity to contribute to technology that helps keep factories, fleets, hospitals, campuses, and other physical operations running. Inclusive and collaborative culture focused on helping employees thrive.
