We are looking for an experienced Software Engineer to join a dedicated team working on high-impact, enterprise-scale software solutions for public sector funding and financial management systems. The candidate will work within a large-scale ecosystem comprising core transactional systems, reporting tools, and public application portals. You will play a key role in developing new features, integrating modern microservices, refactoring legacy components, and migrating services to modern technologies (.NET 6/8, modern web frameworks). Key Responsibilities Systems Analysis & Architecture: Analyze requirements, extract business logic from legacy systems, and create modeling/visualization artifacts using UML standards. Full-Stack Development: Design, maintain, and expand back-end services and front-end portals using C#/.NET, REST APIs, and modern UI tools. Legacy Refactoring & Decoupling: Write anti-corruption layers and seams to safely isolate legacy code from new, modern application components. Data Access & Databases: Design and optimize database access structures using MSSQL, Entity Framework Core (Code-First), and the repository pattern. Testing & Quality Assurance: Create decoupled unit tests, write feature documentation, and conduct end-to-end (E2E) testing on newly built features. Agile Collaboration: Participate in daily stand-ups and Agile/Scrum ceremonies, managing code, documentation, and tasks via Azure DevOps. Requirements Education & Experience: Bachelor’s Degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field (MQF Level 6 or equivalent). 3+ years of professional experience in software development and systems analysis. Practical experience working in Agile/Scrum environments using tools like Azure DevOps. Technical Skills: Back-End & Frameworks: Strong proficiency in C#, .NET Framework 4.8, .NET 6/8, ASP.NET MVC, REST APIs, and Entity Framework Core. Front-End Development: Experience with HTML5, CSS, Bootstrap, AJAX, JavaScript, jQuery, JSON, OpenXML, and modern web frameworks (Angular, React, or Blazor). Databases: Strong knowledge and practical experience with MSSQL, Entity Framework (Code-First), and repository patterns. Architecture & Clean Code: Solid understanding of Object-Oriented Design (OOD), writing decoupled unit tests, and designing anti-corruption layers. Version Control & DevTools: Hands-on experience with Git/Azure Repositories and Browser Development Tools (DevTools).
