The role provides antenatal, labour, delivery and postnatal care, supports normal births and obstetric emergencies, educates mothers on newborn care, breastfeeding and family planning, works with doctors and nurses, maintains clinical documentation and infection-control standards, and may support community outreach.
Requirements & qualifications
Certified or registered midwife with valid professional licence or registration; at least five years of independent midwifery practice; competence in normal deliveries and basic obstetric emergencies.
