Monaco’s 2026–2027 internship grant helps eligible higher-education students and young people completing their training meet costs associated with an approved internship.
Complete internship details
The grant supports one internship in the academic year. Coverage can extend to 17 weeks for an internship during studies or 26 weeks for an internship concluding a bachelor’s or master’s cycle. Applications may be submitted at any time of year but must be filed before the internship starts. If host remuneration equals or exceeds the applicable grant, no grant is paid; if remuneration is lower, Monaco pays the difference up to the applicable grant level.
Eligibility requirements
Applicants must be in higher education and under 30 when applying. Eligible groups include Monegasque nationals, certain foreign spouses or dependants of Monegasque nationals, and foreign nationals who have lived in Monaco continuously for at least 10 years, subject to the residence conditions in the regulation. Applicants need an internship agreement or written host commitment that explains the placement, supervisor, educational objectives and practical arrangements.
