Overview

Monaco’s 2026–2027 internship-grant scheme helps eligible higher-education students meet part of the cost of curriculum-related or end-of-degree work placements.

Complete internship details

The 2026–2027 regulation supports in-course placements for up to 17 weeks and end-of-degree placements for licence or master study for up to 26 weeks. For applicants who are not Monaco study-scholarship recipients, and for end-of-degree placements, the published rates are EUR 92/week or EUR 15/workday in Monaco/Alpes-Maritimes, EUR 192/week or EUR 32/workday elsewhere in Europe, and EUR 384/week or EUR 64/workday outside Europe. For in-course students who also receive a Monaco study scholarship, the corresponding rates are EUR 32/5, EUR 62/10 and EUR 118/19. If host remuneration equals or exceeds the grant, no grant is paid; if lower, Monaco pays the difference. Applications can be filed throughout the year but must be submitted before the internship begins.

Eligibility requirements

Applicants must be pursuing higher education, be under 30 when the file is submitted, and belong to an eligible category under the regulation: Monegasque nationals; foreign spouses of Monegasques; specified foreign descendants or dependants of Monegasques meeting residence conditions; or foreign nationals resident in Monaco continuously for at least 10 years. The placement must be related to the applicant’s course and documented by an internship agreement or host commitment.

Tips for this internship

Practical Job and Scholarship guidance. These tips do not replace official rules or create new eligibility requirements.

  1. Tailor the CV and application to the responsibilities and required skills stated on the official employer page.
  2. Use concrete evidence of relevant work, projects and measurable results rather than generic claims.
  3. Confirm location, work authorization, remote restrictions and sponsorship terms before applying.
  4. Apply through the original employer or official recruitment destination shown on this page.

Verification notes

Verified against Ministerial Order 2026-401 published 24 July 2026. The scheme is rolling but explicitly requires submission before the internship starts, so no fabricated universal deadline date is stored. All rates are copied from the 2026–2027 regulation.
