What we’re looking for:

AmeriSave is currently seeking a Lock Desk Analyst to join our winning team.

This is a remote opportunity to work from home.

What You’ll Do:

• Process new locks requests, extensions, relocks, lock changes, and lock cancellations with investors
• Manage the Lock Desk queue in a timely manner by providing support to Loan origination units as needed
• Enforce AmeriSave Rate Lock Policy while working closely with Loan Officers and Operations Staff
• Aid production support staff in identifying and solving various locking and pricing issues
• Notify leaders of pricing and other issues to maintain accuracy of internal pricing engine and to improve system processes and performance

What You’ll Need:

• 2+ years of Lock Desk or pricing experience
• OR 3+ years of general Mortgage experience with 1+ year of lock desk specific experience
• Working Knowledge of secondary mortgage market framework- Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac and FHA/VA mortgage programs
• Experience locking best effort loans with investors. Knowledge of products: Jumbo, CES, Helocs, NonQm a plus
• Able to work efficiently while maintaining professionalism across departments and external vendors
• Strong critical thinking and math skills. Ability and desire to learn and grow
• Microsoft Office applications experience required. SQL knowledge is a plus
• Detail oriented with ability to work in high-volume, fast-paced environment
• Hours of operation Monday to Friday 10a – 6p EST, 1 hour lunch and breaks
• High-speed internet required for remote work, Cable or Fiber ONLY with the ability to connect via Ethernet. Minimum speeds: 70/30 Mbps (basic), 200-300/35-70 Mbps (shared), 500-1,000/100+ Mbps (heavy use).

Compensation:

The hourly rate for this position ranges from $25 - $34 per hour depending on experience.
